Thunderlord,

I like your MACHO solution: "For pneumatic I like about 1.25:1 or at least 1:1."

Now, I'm a little confused (as Barbie says, "Math is hard!"). Which way is the ratio, the barrel contains 1.25 times the chamber, or vice versa

Appreciate your help :P

Can someone direct me to the post on barell vs chamber ratio

I found it the other day but before I could bookmark it, I was distracted (wife nagging about my f****n' Spud Guns, if you can imagine!). I can't find it again. I downloaded the GGDT but can't get it to open, Any ideas? By way of an explaination: I have two PVC chambers, 2 feet long x 4 inches in di...

Working with 2.5" electrical PVC conduit...

...I have bought a length of conduit to make a tennis ball gun but cannot find out how to cap the ends and attach tubing to the valve. it seems that none of the PVC fitting are standard to the conduit. I have searched the site and see the end result, but not how it was arrived at. Can anyone help :?:

What should I do with this lever? I'm modding a valve and..

find this lever which I can't see on any valves on this site. If you can see a photo, the lever in the vertical position is "Open". Rotated clockwise to the 90* position is "Closed."

In what position should I "weld" it to correctly mod the valve?

Using pure 0xygen as a propellant, the perils thereof.

I read in a posting on this site that someone was looking at using pure oxygen as a propellant. Has anyone researched/discussed the dangers of messing about w/O2? It has been my experience (Air Force) that working with 02 is very dangerous, except in very "Sterile" shop conditions ( Absolutely oil f...

FYI, pressure increases by One Atmosphere for every 33 feet of seawater (FSW). so, at the surface you have one atmosphere, in 33 FSW you have two atmospheres, in 66 FSW three atmospheres etc..

Thanx, for your input, guys. To answer JRRDW's question, originally I had the internal igniter unit installed above the pistol grip to minimize wiring and improve appearance. This proved to be a mistake as the ether didn't vaporize fast enough. So, I had to cut the chamber to install a device of my ...
