Flare the end of the barrel so that it is bigger then the hole the barrel slides in. Put an o-ring between the flared barrel and the screw on cap hole. That will keep the barrel from sliding out and should puncture the disk.

Check out the bbmg starfer forum for all kinds of imformation on different types of bbmgs. You can see my MP5 set up on the ready to assemble picture. I try to keep under a 14 in. barrel. This will empty 2000 bbs in less then a minute. I'm running 125 lbs. off my compressor for it.

Did you put shields on your block? Haven't had any problem with mine. I think I'm going to make a portable backpack out of a 4 in. pvc tank and run it with a 12 volt compressor and motorcycle battery. Harbor Freight has a 12 volt pump that pumps 300% more air then other that style.

Yes, wooden blocks work. I made 3 bbmgs for my friends, and they are still working. I make mine out of 3, 1/4 in. plexiglass epoxied together. Check out the bbmg starfer forum, and go to MP5, and you'll see my block in the ready to assemble picture.I'm going to make a portable backpack out of 2, 4 i...

Yes, I'm using 6mm bbs and 125 lbs of pressure from the compressor. I would like to go portable with it. When the weather gets better I'll post some video.

The Bren has a peep sight that sets to the left of the mag. I didn't put it on because you can just aim down barrel. These guns were spray and pray anyway.

Thank for your input. Now that the pistol grip with the blow gun worked out well, I may have to rework some others I made with this type of grip.
Any ideas on a portable set up for this? Maybe a 20 oz co2 tank regulated to 120 lbs? I've seen NeoSpuds set up.

Shoots great. I'll have to post some videos if the weather gets nice. This has the same air set up as the MP 40 I made last year. It has a 1/8 in. tube that runs to the elbow that is screwed in the block. I think it gives it more pressure, but I could be wrong.

MP5

This is a MP5 I just finished today. It has the plexiglass block, the side window is plexiglass. It is all made from pvc eccept for the wood forgrip and butt. I used a 12 in. airsoft barrel on this one. The air gun is hooked up to 2 elbows and a line that goes to the block.

Short version of a Bren lmg.

This is my short version of a WW2 Bren lmg. I made this to hold more bbs, about 4000, by adding a gravity feed clip on top that feed down after the chamber empties. The block is 3 quarter in. pieces of plexiglass glued together. The barrel is 5/16 brake line I had on hand. The window is plexiglass a...

Great job. What was the receiver and drum made of?
Does it have a spring to push the bbs? Looks like the real thing.

Good job. I would go with the clamp and a piece of 11/2 in. pvc for the barrel and chamber brace. File the ends to fit the contour of the barrel and chamber.
