ok, so if the chamber was was 1mm thick and it says it can go to 250psi do u think it's true!!! Yes, and it can probably hold more, I doubt the pipe will fail at 251 psi. The pressure rating is not the fail point, it's more along the lines of the maximum safe operating pressure. Does that make sens...

Do my eyes deceive me or did you just shoot toward an interior sheetrock wall? Not very smart there Japan, in the very likely case you miss your target, you could quickly have a mailbox pigeon-hole into the next room over...not to mention doing damage or hurting someone on the other side. Don't wor...

The design is weird, but somehow looks easy to hold and shoot It is a weird design, but it's very easy and comfortable to shoot. I just grab it by the center air chamber and press it into my shoulder. The over under joints act like a stock. I have some pipe insulation that I put around the joints w...

This is going to be my last update on this cannon. I beefed up the pilot line and replaced the 55 psi hose with a 200 psi hose. The pilot line could be shorter, but when the cannon was repaired after the barrel snapped off the trigger ended up on the left side. I'm right handed and with the trigger ...

When you are taking a hose above its rating it will probably get inflated on weak points (as near the connection to the hose barbs) and pop. The danger, however, is not that the hose pops, but its the gun that gets pilotted. Watch out for that. Im going to change the pilot line. I got a six foot se...

i quess most of the pressure rarings are far below their fail pressure( for liability reasons probably). also to answer your question yes if the pressure isnt equal inside the sprinkler valve diaphragm it will open. edit: just a quick question do you live in japan? yeah i know it is a pretty dumb o...

that's a very unfortunate situtation... ok let say that there is a 95% chance that it won't fail.... but's what if it does ? use the pilot valve without a line and get a pressure rated one EDIT I think you knew the answer to this question before you asked THat's what I thought. Thanks It's just a m...

Pilot line pressure???
I recently added a pilot line to my cannon so I could move the trigger to a more comfortable position. This might be a stupid question but, here it goes. When you pressurize the air chamber does the pilot line on a modded sprinkler valve hold the same pressure as what you put in the air chamber? I u...

Oops sorry. I didn't think to look all the way back to the first page....just started seeing new pics and not much description on the latest page. Bummer on the whole barrel breakage thing. Some lessons learned on barrel supports huhhh... Certainly a lesson well learned. I finally got to tes...

Looks good so far. Did you tire of the other stripe job you had on there? You mentioned failure....what happened? The failure description is at the top of page 1 under the 7/25/08 update. The barrel broke off at the valve. When the barrel supports and new pvc to re-attach the barrel itself were add...

That gun is turning out very good. Could we see some videos? I'll try to get some, I can record with my digital camera but I don't know how well it will turn out. Prep'd for the next coat. <a href="http://s273.photobucket.com/albums/jj231/YerBallsRshowin/?action=view¤t=0725082123a.jpg" target...
