I have never used one before, are they hard to get the right pitch? I think i might go back to Bunnings and try find a bolt that already has threads fur...

OK thanks guys. Ok yeah that makes sense. I went ahead today and used the 1" sprinkler valve just to be safe. But now I can't get the piston to seal. :? You might be having the same problem as me. Also would an extra rubber seal on the seat help or probably just get blown off (with approx. 120 PSI)?
