I just received it today and it says SDR-21 on the side!!! PERFECT!!! Too late to go to the store and get the 2" SCH-80 PVC. Damn! I have to wait until tomorrow when they open.

I'm gonna have some fun tomorrow night :D

Couldn't find the 1.5" SDR-21 but I was able to find 1.5" class 200. Ordered it online. It comes today!!! Hope it works well with golf balls.

Even though it's rated at 200 psi, should I sleeve it?

Sweet mortar! Are you going to post a video of it in action? Also, Do you have anything stopping the ball from being shoved down too far?

Great job!

Video added: The search for 2.5" canned goods

Its a conspiracy. I walked all through Smith's Food King looking for cheap canned goods that would fit into the tennis ball barrel. Almost nothing...almost. I brought a little 1/2" piece of tennis ball barrel for the tests. :) Kroger Vienna sausages fit beautifully until it hit the top ring of the c...

I have my noise maker ready for July 4th. It's very loud and reloads simply by pushing the plunger down.

Here is the thread

As for hearing it 5km away, well...I might have to work on something else.

Most claims of 300 yard ranges are bogus. It is possible with a golfball but probably not possible with most other common ammos (tennis balls, spuds etc.). Can you even see a 1.5" shell at 300 yards? I have trouble seeing a 2" spud at 100 yards, at 300 yards the shell appears 9x smaller than at 100...

I wore plugs so it didnt make my ears ring but it would if I wasnt wearing any. It is very loud!

I'm using a Sony Cybershot camera, not a true video camera but good enough.

I hope I wasn't in that dream also.

Video added in the first post to show flames and fired it directly at the camera. I just did it in my garage because I didn't feel like waiting for dark (have to work).

This sucker is loud!

Do you think if I added 4 more exhaust ports that it would be even louder? It's pretty damn loud as it is. It may destroy the integrity of the barrel. All the ports are measured to the exact same level.

I didn't feel like running after them so I did some straight up shots with the lacrosse balls vs tennis balls and softballs. The lacrosse ball was obviously going higher than both. The tennis ball lost to both. If my softball can shoot 885ft then, IMHO, that lacrosse ball will go well over 1000ft. C...

Is it possible that glue vapors allowed the gun to fire the first time even with right guard mixed in?

Forget tennis balls. Lacrosse balls rule!

I was running around everywhere trying to find a brand that fit perfectly down a 2.5" barrel. After trying many brands, I found the ones that fits beautifully... ... Champion Brand Lacrosse Balls. They say NFHS approved. You can get them at Sports Authority. I found other ones that said NFHS approve...
