Yea there is a huge differance between a modded sprinkler valve and ball valve. The only way you can semi decent results from a ball valve is to clamp a pole to it so you have leverage and open it a lot faster.

You could use a blow gun as your exhaust... I had great results on a 1 inch valve so a two inch=twice the flow should be sick

so if i were to make this using a 2 inch pvc T i would mold the hot glue in like a 2 inch coupling im guessing...but what would i need for the other parts to make this work the same way but with 2 inch pvc instead...as you can tell im a n00b when it comes to this piston stuff hahaha Edit: yea i'm go...

so it goes in the piolet side forces the piston shut then air goes around and fill the chamber? then i guessing u have a blowgun valve on the piolet side that releses pressure from behind the piston making it drop back and the chamber air escapes out the barrel

thanks for the response but i really have no idea how to go about making one. i guessing that one of these would really increase the velocity on one of my guns because it looks like a lot mor air can get through faster
