hey guys, Just got my first air cannon up and running with a 1" by 5ft barrel with a 3" by 3.2ft air chamber with a ball valve. Very happy with it and fires very well. but unfortunately for some reason the cap of the chamber began to leak air and cannot be fixed :( . so i've decided to buy a new cap...

C:B Ratio problem
hey guys, Im 100% stuck on working out the c:b Ratio thing in terms of how long my air chamber should be with a 1" by 5FT barrel ! just got ma pvc pipe for my 1st cannon of which is about to be build and i was woundering weather or not with the barrel being 5ft long should i have a long conbustion chamber or a short one ? or does it even matter

My dad tells me that to gain power ( pneumaticly) if ur chamber is say 3" u have to then have something like a 2" barrel otherwise it will have no power behind what so ever ? is this true ?
And if it is true would a convertion from 3" down to 2.5" be enough
