I underestimated the effect of a chamber fan in a spray and pray, and the neighbours house, being downrange but normally OUT of range, was very lucky. A chicken wire fence shredded the potato and saved their window.

Aren't there combustion nailers? I've heard somewhere that nail-guns can shoot nails up to 1400 fps, was it true? Just today I heard that there are gunpowder powered nailers... essentially a regular cartridge with a nail rather than a slug. Apparently used for some of that really really hard wood. ...

EEEEEEEEEEEEPOOOOOOOOOXYYYYYYYYYYY

fixes everything. Just mix some up and pour over the crack. Try not to spill it through the hole, and just rub it into the crack and wipe of the excess. I'm honestly not 100% sure well that would work but its the first thing I would try

I dont know how I'll make the Brass barrel stay in the Aluminium one without flying away when shot, glue??. Slide it most of the way in, with about an inch or so still protruding out, then cover the remaining outside part of brass in epoxy. Insert the brass all the way into the aluminium while twis...

What do you use as a piston material in your small-bores? How do you keep the sealing face bonded at high pressures? I remember being told that epoxy does not bond well to rubber...

I was so busy filming that I missed a couple of meals anyway, guess it could work out ;) hehehehehe :D I'll see what happens. My soon-to-be housemates have forbidden my golf ball gun, for good reason too. So hopefully more high pressure small calibre projects to come. I'm studying engineering so I ...

DVD player eh? That reminds me - I think I have an old VCR player which could be fun to break. I'll see what I can do. I'm doing a damage compilation of my launcher at the moment. I shot a rockmelon haha, had a similar effect as your watermelon :P

Cool launcher! What parts do you need to upgrade to a sprinkler valve system? Apart from the sprinkler itself do you need much more? I daresay you would be significantly impressed with the sprinkler valve's performance as opposed to a manually actuated ball valve, so I would recommend working on upg...

Yes, he's horrified! I would have put the sprinkler directly behind the pilot chamber and filled through the blowgun. Still, nice effort and I bet performance will be impressive :) Aw damn it... I never even considered that option... wow thanks JSR, i shall get down to teh plumberz and find me some...

Damn... love it :D

I take it the air tank is not connected to the barrel, and the tee is just a support?

Also how is the nailer connected to the PVC... just epoxy?

2" pneumatic barrel sealer

This is my first *working* pneumatic. It is my second attempt at a PVC barrel sealer, the first was a dismal failure. I posted a helpme/buildlog here . The whole thing: http://i571.photobucket.com/albums/ss151/rikukiakuchiki777/IMG_0903.jpg and a cat :D no I do not shoot cats  Specs: This laun...
