yes, replacing the rubber bands might seem like a obvious way of improving this construction; but in a matter of fact, the rubber bands are here to stay. I can easily adjust the hammers striking force by adding or subtracting a rubber band, to configure the gun for different pressures used. And Also...

Nice gun you've build there! I'm in the opinion that twice the valve; twice the fun. No matter thinking about the percentage of improvement; just the feeling of a dual valve setup in your hands make it worth it; am I right? But please show us the full setup with barrel and such; would be fun to see.

yes. As it is today; i shoot the steel balls; with a very good fit. I can stop bullets in the middle of the barrel (while held horizontal) just bye putting a finger over the top-hole. however; a steel-barrel with the rifles would absolutely be a lot of fun! perhaps I choose that for future projects....

while shooting; the breech is exposed! I made a patch of fabric that can easily be turn over the gun to reveal the breech-bling.

Added a camouflage, dark green forest theme.
The leather makes me think of some WWII-setting.
