Im gonna try an epoxy Vortex or a PVC one. Which one should I use?

Ok, Ill use a airsoft barrel. I just found one at GI Airsoft, It is about 30 dollars, and it is app. 580mm barrel.

And I got the vortex, should I make it out of PVC or something? Because I am not a big metal worker.
