Re: "In the world of spuds today"

Still here, arrived when I was 12 and now I'm 20. Time flies.

I swear it never leaves you, I still have an odd fascination with valves and pipes and all sorts... I'll build something someday.

Looks fine, though I'd suggest a wide angle prime for landscape shots?

Re: Is spudding dead?

I'm still here and I visit occasionally. My degree/drinking takes up almost all my time but I have 4 months off in the summer and have access to a lathe amongst other tools. Might see what I can whip up. It's very nostalgic seeing some of these names again, jeez. In my opinion the development of sma...

Re: Once a Spudder, Always a Spudder

I still exist too. Currently in my last year of school before I go off to study Chemistry at uni. Just about to send applications off in the next few weeks. Anyway, good to see the site still running and I remember all of you rowdy lot, heh.

Re: "Offtopic-posts-topic" NSFW

May be at different frequencies but the 900mhz vTx produces lower frequency harmonics that can interfere with 2.4ghz, Spektrum are buggers for it. I never plan to take it out far, under 500m so i should be ok. I'm using an OrangeRx R615 and i think it should be suitable for the distances i'm looking...

Re: "Offtopic-posts-topic" NSFW

Does anyone fly any FPV here? My bixler 2 has just been setup with a cheap HK 200mw 900mhz link, have to fly with a dx5e so not sure about interference. Will maiden tomorrow if the weather permits.

I just saw that! Crazy stuff, looks like you lost a lot of blood, hope you are OK. Shame the hand protector didn't get tested

Get well, Joerg.

Thank you and feckin feck indeed, a couple metres to the left and she would have been chopped.

Let's build a gun. I'm thinking 22mm bore, copper and 400 psi?

I think the pilot got a little closer than he wanted too.

How on earth do I embed this? God, I should know thinking about all the time I've wasted online...

Just reading some of the comments on demolitions ranch's video. Boy, do you get a lot of hate on these rounds from a variety of people. "This kid just needs to stop. He's wasting his time" And my personal favourite, "Tell that karbine guy to use gorilla glue on the plastic so it doesn't break apart"...

Surely something simple enough as an inline PVC ball valve launcher would suffice? The barrel could be detachable and would clip onto the chamber using another bit of PVC with a section cut out of it. Would it be possible to just use some high weight sea fishing line and then you could use a cheap f...

So I've been a way for a good while and one of my other hobbies are bikes, bicycles that is. Does anyone else ride? I have an Iron Horse Yakuza Ojiki which I mostly use for DH and and free ride and a Giant STP 1 for trail riding and the occasional dirt jump. Speaking of bikes, Jack, you're moving to...
