It cost me about $5, as most of the parts are salvaged PVC. Shot it a bunch recently and I found that, due to barrel being supported by the barrel pack, and the barrel pack not rotating perfectly, I get about a 12in grouping at 4 feet. It also shoots quite slow both in terms of velocity and rof. I'm...

Minigun

Killbucket inspired minigun. It uses a simple motor and a vacuum cleaner belt to drive the barrel pack, which rotates around the inner barrel (the one that actually works). The motor is powered by a 9.6v Ni-Cd battery taped under the motor housing, and is activated by a simple push button switch pla...

When I first saw that picture I thought it was a coaxial vortex. :P

When you make a stock, use the back end cap as a buttstock and use a trigger linkage to move the trigger and handle forward. That way, you can have a stock without making the gun longer!

Its supposedly closed bolt, so I would guess a system like legion shocker; http://www.zdspb.com/media/tech/animations/legionshocker_7fps.gif I also believe that the price may keep this from becoming to mainstream or widely used. Many airsofters have become to used to cheap aegs to be willing to shel...

Does anyone else have diagrams of what they've done to incorporate hopup in a BBMG? I'm curious to see what others have done.
I know DavidVaini (sp?) has done some hopup, as well as some others, but I've never seen how those units work.

It looks like your tank has the treads commonly associated with paintball tanks. You may be able to pick up a paintball air system for cheap that will work with that.

Something like this

Thank you JSR, I hadn't thought of those things. I still don't know how I would incorporate a breach end adjustable hopup (well, I have some ideas, but nothing that is in my means to fabricate). Any one have some diagrams? Edit: Just drew this up. would this work? http://i54.tinypic.com/2uh0i1j.jpg

I have found that the hopup works just as well on the muzzle. See APEX tip.
The reason I want to do muzzle as opposed to breach en hopup is that
1) my skills and tools are limited, and
2) This would severely limit my ability to adjust the hopup.

Incorporation of hopup...

A while back, I made this , and as you can see, I did say I would make a version 2. Now, version two will have almost exactly the same design, and I want to incorporate hopup. The problem is, I can't find a way to fit my hopup unit on the muzzle without making the thing impossible to reload. the pro...

I have no idea what the fps is, sorry.
I'm also not sure what kind of wood it is: I got it out of a junk heap (it has nail holes in it  )

Wood Stock Vortex Cap

The vortex cap I used for this was one I made just to try out the whole vortex cap thing to see if I could make one. After letting it sit around for awhile, I decided to give it a new barrel and a wood stock. http://i45.tinypic.com/2wq60cw.jpg http://i48.tinypic.com/111o54w.jpg It shoots reasonably ...

What else should I do?

I just got this thing functional, it just seems incomplete. Any suggestions on what else I should add?

It was once a UTG AK-74. I got It as payment for fixing a friend's gun.

Result of my BBMG musings

Over the weekend i got to wondering if other positions of barrel and air inlet on a vortex block besides 90 degrees work just as well.(say 180 or 0)... http://i43.tinypic.com/akbhg0.jpg ...and how well vortex caps work in various positions... http://i44.tinypic.com/x42df6.jpg ...So I built three vor...
