Buying syringes of araldite is getting quite expensive. I need an epoxy that I can use for structural components and as an adhesive. I actually prefer something medium viscosity like araldite... It suits my methods. Would anybody have a good value recommendation for me? (anyone in particular? :idea:)

it is harder to push a bolt forward than to pull it back. When you pull it back the stock rests against your shoulder and your back muscles do the work. Pushing it forward is awkward and less muscle groups can be used.

Why not undermount a hand bike pump, one pump should be enough to get 40 psi into a smallish chamber. SSP does seem like the best option here.

Like I said, that is because the volume behind the piston is changing too much at fully cocked state. The pic above allows you to have a lower peak force and more energy overall.

There will be a sweet spot for the ratio of piston diameter to projectile diameter.
