I'd be cautious with that one at anything over about 30 PSI ... it looks like it's made of that wonderful "hard" brittle plastic that turns into sharp shards (almost glass-like) when it fails  As far as hooking it up to something, it appears you will be searching for some very small flexible ...

First - impressive ammo!!! I know you had a bad experience with expanding foam, and so did I once. Then I had an idea that worked out much better then I expected ... you may want to give it some thought. I used 4 sections of "Poster Wrappers" (about 1.5" diameter "bags" that movie posters etc.. are ...

If Lighter Fluid won't seep into the edges and loosen the bond, I'd try boiling them. It works on every label on any type of Jar or whatever else I've ever tried to clean up. 5 to 10 minutes in a nice rolling boil and it usually loosens thigns right up - just make sure they aren't on the very bottom...

One thought from the Mechanic in me ... Since you are using brake line for the barrel, why not use a flare tool and a brake line coupler for attaching the barrel to the chamber? It would elimiate the need for the Epoxy and remove a "weakness" from the design. The only problem is: But then the barre...

Very clean and good looking build. One thought from the Mechanic in me ... Since you are using brake line for the barrel, why not use a flare tool and a brake line coupler for attaching the barrel to the chamber? I say you've done a mighty fine job with this, especially for a first. Have you considered a breech loader for it? A simple coupling breech loader can be made with just a small amount of effort. Welcome to Spudfiles northern neighbor. I thought about that, but for my First, I just wanted to get the...

Feel free to post video's and damage pictures. What color are you going to paint it? No VidCam, so there won't be videos - but I think my Camera may take video ... I'll look into it. When I get something to destroy, I'll defintiely take before and after shots. Not sure on the color yet. Probably ju...

My First Pneumatic Cannon
As the title says, this is my first cannon. I built it to try and get a grasp of what's involved before moving up to a larger size of chamber and barrel. I have an "accomplice" who has almost unlimitied access to 600 psi rated 4", 6" & 8" heavy wall PVC, a dozen or so 2" sprinkler valves and a 100 a...

I agree that those are a pretty cheap unit - as in not worth the money. p.s isn’t that a pump not a compressor? What’s the diff anyway? I would call that a Pump. My definitions: Pumps simply pump air into a separate device. Compressors pump air into an integral device ("on board" tank). Though I am ...

Oh My  A pneumatic Log Splitter? I'm scared ... very, very scared. I've dealt with Log Splitters for years. Even slow Hydraulic ones will send the occasional hunk of shrapnel (5 to 10 pound hunk of wood) a long ways ... 10 to 20 feet easily. I can't visualize any system that would work at the...
