ahh yes, I've heard some dangers talked about on another website. Either way, I'm probably just gonna go out and buy some tanks that are specifically meant for this kind of regulator.

Variations of CO2 tanks

I've been thinking of constructing my own regulator kit using an Aquarium co2 regulator with a Sodastream or paintball tank. This link here is the regulator I am considering buying. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Aquarium-CO2-Simple-Regulator-Diffuser-Adjuster-moss-/270719015463?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&ha...

Possibly. The valve stem varies in that the button is slightly shorter than that of a regular paintball tank. It is also somewhat harder to press down, so to speak. That would be the only difference. Whether the difference will affect the operation of the regulator or not, I would have no idea, as I...

It certainly will fit. But the valve system for a sodastream is slightly different to a paintball tank. The threading will be exactly the same however. I know this because I too own a paintball tank and a sodastream tank and have compared the two before.

Co2 power system.

Back in around 2007, an Australian company called Ozito released a new item that would have solved many of my current issues that I have when it comes to the portability of BB machine guns. The product unfortunately has been cancelled sin...

Wow I must say, I am impressed! I must ask though. Where did you get the regulator from? Or is it homemade using various plumbing fittings? Back in the days in Australia they used to sell an Ozito power system that comes with a regulator, which will actually work for a soda stream canister as well. ...

Ahh yeah, I never actually go on that website anymore. Too many glitches. One thing I have noticed sometimes with this gun is that you should never leave it out in the sun for too long. I have had a couple of co2 pump systems get destroyed on the inside and the only option for me was to buy a new on...

Yeah I did notice that one. This would have to be perhaps the most basic of designs out there and I only thought of it by accident lol.

Homemade burst fire/full auto BB pistol.

Around four years ago I posted a how to topic on a site called Rotteneggs.com about an airsoft BB gun that was capable of burst and rapid fire. This is a rather out dated version, but the design is exactly the same. http://www.rotteneggsx.com/r3/show/se/192128.html Take a look at the profile to see ...

I didnt quite understand what you were trying to say.

Sorry.

The tank already has an in built valve that only needs to be pressed to release the gas, and this gas gets release around the rod.

Lol. I definately wouldnt trust my skill with creating a secondary valve, simply because I do not like the idea of handling pressures over 2000 psi. And yes you are correct in that the barrel will screw onto the L joint. I am planning on using a cloud design with 3 mm BBs (the same size as the ammo ...

Hmm good idea. I know it may be asking for alot but is it possible if you could draw a diagram of it on the first picture?

I have an idea of what you mean, but words are often open for interpretation unlike diagrams.

In the first diagram you can see a barrel, and a tube that holds the BBs.

This is very simmilar to something I posted on a site called http://www.rotteneggs.com

What I usually use is rubber tubing between the two tubes, taped up with sticky string tightened around the rubber.
