You can probably use (steel) electrical conduit for the barrel, as SB15 and I told Crowley in the past. 10 feet will run you... $20 max? You'll have to get creative when attaching it to your camlocks though. I've never used camlocks before so I couldn't tell you about their safety factor. Do some r...

Thanks for all the replys! I plan on making a hubb style spark plug like Zeus recommended as for the barrel I really want to get 1 1/2" copper but that is over $50 for a 10 foot section  so I might try sleeving abs or possibly aluminium if i can find a piece cheap. What would be a good barrel...

My First Hybrid

Well after building many combustions and pneumatics i decided to venture into the hybrids. All the launcher is built out of galvanized iron and i plan to take it up to about 5x max due to the camlock coupler having a 250 psi working limit. I plan on shoulder firing it when i find a large bore barrel...

3/4 QEV gun

This is my first all metal gun and it is a beast. So far i have only taken it up to 160psi due to the compressors limit but i am looking for a cheap high pressure supply. The air chamber is 1 1/4 galvanized pipe and has a 1/2 copper barrel. Any Questions comments or improvements are welcome! http://...

mini blowgun combustion

With winter coming around I decided to build a mini that i could fire inside and here is what I came up with. It is a pill bottle with a 40 cal. barrel, butane direct inject, and a bbq ignitor. It will put a blowgun dart through a 1inch piece of pine http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/4228/wholegun.j...

I have some problems with my regulator...was wondering if you had better success? Ill try to get up pics of fueling device later but...

New advanced cannon

Hello, this is my first advanced combustion cannon. Starting this project i really did not think that a little fan, multiple sparks, and some metered propane would make much of a difference over my old spray and pray gun but man was i wrong lol. Not sure of what kind of speed im getting but potatos ...

Fnord wrote:You can avoid this by making a better seal between the pilot volume and chamber(o-rings), or using a bigger pilot valve.
Will air be able to get past the o-rings to fill the chamber?
