We've ordered some of those, though they may have to wait until our next build is done before we launch them. This here may be the last video (appropriate for all audiences) starring Stubs here, due to me feeling air leaking out of the valve on its last few shots. But she's served us well, and will ...

New video, same old cannon. Since the "hundreds of little glow sticks" thing didn't photograph well, we got four thick glow sticks that, arranged just so, barely fit into the chamber next to each other. Much more visible, though the 720 HD version does it much more justice. [youtube]http://www.youtu...

Yeah actually, the next one is PVC. Plans for the one after to start with metal. As it is, the next one is basically conceived as the end-all PVC cannon, from our perspective (though I know it'll still be humble compared to some of the work around here), so if it in fact ends its life by exploding i...

Solvent welding is decidedly the plan for the next one. Learned more than just that from going through spudfiles, here; We're going on a material run for our next cannon this weekend, after we finalize the plans. Big. If our math's right (and we'll re-check it), should be able to do 300 PSI without ...

A C-battery... Taking out your window seems like one of the less-destructive ways that could've gone! Decidedly a live and learn scenario... Technician: Aye, that'd be why I nixxed that one myself after thinking about it a moment. Our air cannon actually didn't launch at speeds "safe" for the helmet...

McCrowley: No problem, I understand. I do have a habit of making these things look non-lethal. Jack: I'm taking that as a high compliment. :D Yeah, I wasn't aware some of this stuff had been done at all, little-less peer-reviewed on a mass-scale... I feel quite at home. And thanks for all the welcom...

The barrel! Nice... Haven't had that happen to us, but I can see it... Yeah, actually, if a mod considers the knife video to be a no-no, please remove it, or ask me to and I'd gladly do it myself. Not trying to skirt any rules, I just legitimately think the circumstance of this particular shoot are ...

I did see that, but I actually figured the helmet made it an exception... but after half a second's thought, I see that it isn't, so removed. The removed one is a potato to the head - while wearing an incredibly strong helmet. But it's gone now. I do actually think the knife one is OK? Because it's ...

Hello there, folks. My name's Josh, and I can't believe I'm just discovering this forum now... Pleasure to make your various acquaintances. My friends and I have fun with spud cannons, sometimes loaded with spuds, sometimes loaded with not-spuds. We only started recording it fairly recently, but I h...
