@jimmy, I did this, but he says the time it takes to take the syringe off the butane tank and to put your finger onto it, all the butane is already lost. Well, tell'm he is 100% wrong. Even without a needle a typical syringe is gong to equalize pressure almost instantly (which is good) and then slo...

Thanks for the replies guys, @jack, actually, that last video with the demonstration, that's the one he called a hoax. Thanks for the vids! @Technician, I've been telling him that the loss is negligible, but he doesn't get it. @warhead (and jack), I actually tried this, and I got a nicely sized flam...

Syringe fuel injection?
Hey guys, I've reached a sort of stall here with the development of my first Spudgun. I've been having a debate with my dad about the Syringe loading system which I was planning on using. He says the syringe injection system does not work, as the Butane will escape from the Syringe when it is remove...

That looks fantastic, however then it would be self-redundant if I wanted to open the back of the combustion chamber using a ball valve or something to vent the exhaust fumes out of the chamber, I could just do the syringe injection into the open chamber after having vented out the exhaust using the...

Hmm, I think I'll use the method on the right, plus a hole in the back. That seems a bit more accurate rather than jamming the projectile in after putting the butane in the barrel. Actually, that method doesn't seem too bad. I'm not breech-loading anyways, so it would be a bit integrated. Plus I don...

I had in mind making something like in the video, with some additions like a folding chamber fan which I found too cool to pass up, and the syringe injection system seems like a nice and easy addition. The only problem with that is then butane or propane would probably be involved, and I don't know ...
