true, its a rough work, its intended to be hand thrown, mostly composed of pvc, a piston valve would work from the pressure plate, but i don't have any experience with those

developing impact grenade

Im sure most of you are familiar with the tornado impact grenade here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KHvUaTdZhQ Ive always wanted to be able to find a decent build for a homemade grenade. A timer would be preferable but I haven't had any luck finding or coming up with a workable design. This is a r...

vortex blocks are pretty easy to make, a block of wood with a few holes drilled in it is all you need. oh plus a bb skirt partially covering the block to prevent jamming. Just a hand drill and drill bits really

I have actually seen a design similar to this one, though instead it used a Co2 cartridge and a nerf football from a launcher. It didnt' work because all that pressure blew the foam apart. They didn't have any intertia problems from the launch triggering the round but it was a relatively low speed (...

Okay if i choose to use a sprinkler valve as opposed to a solenoid or otherwise. I would still prefer to have the safety of a disconnect from the trigger. With a modified sprinkler valve would a solenoid as opposed to a blowgun as the trigger defeat the purpose? Or instead would a simple valve in th...

I'm using it in a slightly different setup for my rocket launcher. I'm using this regulator http://www.ebay.com/itm/Aquarium-CO2-Simple-Regulator-Diffuser-Adjuster-moss-/270719015463?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f081c5a27 and then will have that pressurizing to about 125 psi or so a chamber of st...

Another question, My regulator from the Co2 tank into the compression chamber needs to be inline if possible, which is why I'm trying not to use a Palmers stabilizer. My goal psi is between 75 and 100 if possible, but I can't seem to find any regulator that would work for that. Is there any reg out ...

I like the idea of the cartridge, but I will try to see if i can build one first before I commit to the design. How would I pull the piston back to release the air stored behind it? I considered the valveless design because of its simplicity. But it seems like it would waste quite a bit of air, and ...

I have a 1" solenoid now, i'm looking for a 1.5", and if i used the sprinkler valve i would modify it to use a blowgun so no it would be a mechanical trigger as opposed to an electrical one.
