The qev is 19 mm in diameter:)

It's a one shot Gun, i want a simple blow gun, but in Sweden i can only find blow Guns that is pressure rated to 10 bar:/

Were can I find a small pilot valve that I can use to trigger my QEV.
I want it to be able to work at 300 psi (20bars) pressure.


The current valve I´m using is a simple ball valve, witch I think is to big and it doesnt feel as a trigger.

I would try to optimise the piston a little, maybe using synthetic spacers instead of metal to save weight, and grinding down the sealing face nut for better flow, but otherwise great job! I welded the extinguisher to make it a different thread sice. The air is pumped on the pilot side of the qev, were the quick connect is:)

BTW: with a well made hammervalve all your components should be able to handle 20 to 25 bar.

The gun has now been tested with 20 bars pressure:D and its still holding nicely:)

I made a simple test today whith a blowgun as a pilot valve for the QEV, and the result was better accuracy but the gun lost the clean look:(



Does anyone know a simular valve but is more compact and has a cooler look?

Is there any way to calculate how small chamber I can use before I'm loosing power? I want the chamber to be as small as possible so that the extinguisher last for as mant shots as possible:)
