What do you call that thing with the pressure gauge, People seem to call it a pressure regulator/scuba tank regulator. When I search it on Google, it comes up with the regulator that is used in that breathing apparatus.

Will it help if the neoprene is more rough (causes more friction when I rub my finger against it)?

It's 9mm's. Can I glue two or three layers of neoprene together as the distance between the piston and the schrader valve can be 1mm?
