-Idea (20 pts max) 6 Neat, but not really new -Use of materials (5 pts max) 3 -Creativeness (10 pts max) 1 Not really seeing anything -Quality of build (5 pts max) 2 The piston is nice -Function (10 pts max) 6 It seems to work based on the video, but with apparently no breech loading device I'm not ...

-Idea (20 pts max) 13 Eh, not bad, but nothing great either. I've haven't seen that type of piston used in a hybrid, but I also don't see the benefits of it. -Use of materials (5 pts max) 5 Everything works well together. I think the white parts would look better black, but I'm not going to count of...

-Idea (20 pts max) 14 Many similar ideas have been proposed and built, but this idea does do a good job of implementing several ideas together. I like the electronic 3 way valve in conjunction with a pressure switch for semi/full auto capabilities. That is something I proposed way back when I made m...

-Idea (20 pts max) 12 Cannon itself isn't very inventive, but the idea and implementation of the on-board chrony is excellent. -Use of materials (5 pts max) 4 Being a little picky (that's my job though right?) but the chamber and fittings seem inconsistent with the rest of the gun. -Creativeness (10...

-Idea (20 pts max) 16 This works different than Tippman's pump action, but it is also nothing new. It draws in air like a torch head (it looks like it is actually using a torch head, but it is hard to tell with all the stuff mounted on it). This is why he must wait before each shot. However the idea...

If they are so tired of answering price quotes then they should publish their prices, or at least an order of magnitude of their prices. It also seems silly they would not want links to their products. I'm sure people in industry use Google. Even if hobbyists can't afford their valves, links and dis...

Well... Ya'll should be happy. After the Big Meeting today it was decided to build.... [drum roll please] Two (count 'em, two!), 6" piston valves. Not quite rated at what you are looking for (as far as I can tell), but there is a company making 6" piston valves. http://www.martin-eng.com/products/b...

Are you sure she is actually drawing her own designs, or is she just arranging purchased designs in a custom way? There is a big difference between the two, and everything I have seen about the Cricut machine indicates that all you can do is rearrange the designs and use the fonts purchased through ...

could get one of those cricket things for crafts that they avertize on tv That machine only cut preset designs that are supplied with the machine. It has dies's or cards that you insert into it, according to the infomercerial I seen. I don't think so, I believe Clide used a cricket to cut out the l...

Looks to me like his is 1/2". I have the 1/2" sleeve valve from McMaster and the OD of the sleeve is about the same as the OD of a 1" fitting. That looks to be the case for the RevoSemi's valve as well.

Cool, I'm glad there is another contest, and thanks to the sponsors for your support. I doubt I will be able to enter this time, but trying to keep the cannon submitters anonymous seems like it will be more of a problem than it's worth. I understand the idea behind it to try and eliminate bias, but ...

Thanks guys. Not sure when they will announce the winner of the Epilog contest. I also finally graduated last week. I'm trying to be a little more productive so I won't be hanging around the forums as much as I used to, but I'll probably still try to skim through it on the weekends. With all the goo...

I think part of the problem may be your setup. With a barrel significantly larger than the valve and a really light projectile you have a setup that is hypersensitive to valve flow rate. While it is not a bad idea to have the setup sensitive to the variable you are looking to find, I think you may h...

True, but I don't know why Tippmann would remove the link if they were still making it.

The "U.S. Army Paintball" link goes to a site that has the Alpha Black markers

Looks like it is discontinued. It's not on the product list on Tippmann's website.
