I realise this is an old thread but I do have a question and I wasn't sure whether its best to create a new thread for it or just use this one. Anywhos, coming off the back of the 20mm copper tee, what brass fittings are used? The reason I ask is because when I went to Bunnings earlier I found a fit...

Atm I'm trying to work out a galvanized barrel sealer, the obvious problem is the inside of the gal T is really rough so I was thinking of just sleeving some pvc inside it (15mm pvc is a pretty good fit in 20mm galvanized pipe, at least i think its 20mm, can't remember off hand) for the piston to ru...

How safe do you feel taking poly pipe to 300psi? Its just that I've never seen any pressure ratings on the stuff at Bunnings and from a while ago I thought the general consensus was it was safe for less pressure than 300. If its safe for 300 I am so using it on a gun instead of pvc. Don't suppose we...

Looks pretty good, I'm guessing it doesn't weigh an unbearable amount seeing as you can hold and shoot with one hand. Is there any degree of accuracy to it? By the way, how much did your QEV set you back? SMC is about the only place I've seen them over here. Anyways, can't wait to see holes through ...

'Different' air release valve (hammer/poppet style)
Good evening to all, I found this today whilst bumming around and thought it was rather nifty. (For those who don't want to read my nonsense the link can be found underneath my disclaimers and such.) Firstly, I don't think this has been posted before, if it has I do apologize in advance. (For all I ...

Hey, I've no experience with crossbows but I was looking around for info a while back and found some stuff about an arbalest (really kickass crossbow with a steel prod) and thought that if you can manage to find a reasonably light leaf spring (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leaf_spring) and use a wind...

I realise that it won't be the picture of performance it was never meant to increase performance, it is a ball valve after all, the idea was purely for comfort reasons, 'cos trying to crank the ball valve open as quickly as possible is rather difficult while trying to aim and hold it in a way that i...

Ball valve trigger question
Evening, I was wondering if something like this would work? http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg303/890890_photo/possibleguntriggerthingy.jpg I know that it would work far better if I were to use a sprinkler valve or a piston etc but atm I've made a ball valve gun out of spare parts and just want t...
