ive made a 2" piston by melting hot glue sticks in a microwave, pouring that into a greased 2" piece, hot gluing on a piece of rubber, and drilling 2, 1/16" pilot holes.

i guess I will do the hot glue gun piston, but how do I seal the tee? just fitting it together, and screwing it together would leak like crazy, is glueing it closed the only way???

where is the psi gauge hole in relation to the diaphragm? seems like it might affect the valves integrity a little.... or are they super hard or something?

cant you just tap the pipe with your fitting? (tap it in to start and use lots of downward force when turning)

I have some taps, but wasnt planning on using them for my next cannon

combustion are always easier to make than pneumatic, you dont have to worry about little air leaks.

I still like pneumatic way better though. smaller ones have more power, and they're more "controllable"

lol, your freaking him out. just do what I do, put the gun and air compressor on one side of your house, let it charge to like 200 psi and then toss a big hammer at the tank (while standing around the corner) if it explodes then dont do that again, if not, you're safe to use it at 150psi (my maximum...

they are electronicly controled water valves (for sprinkler systems). you hook 3 9-volts up to the wires on it and it Opens, allowing water (air) to go out. theres usualy a couple brands at home depot. too hook it up you just need to glue 1" male threaded connectors on your PVC barrl and itl screw in

"Pop-it" gun?!??! any ideas?

http://www.uniquereviews.com/images/tnt-pop-its-big.jpg ok, so theres those BB full autos but those take lots of air because the BBs have to penetrate cans to be worthwile (cool). Imagine a "pop-it" full auto! you would only need enough air to make the popit fly 20 feet or so and then it would expl...

blowgun has to be BEHIND diaphragm

thanks, i think the air is just rushing past the endcap and not sealing, this could be beacuse the intertube just dosent seal or the intertube is actualy getting smaller in diameter, when it is "sucked" a little into the barel

what can i use?!?!
