That air tanks been used so many times it isn't funny
First pneumatic, BBMG, 2" BST (multiple times), other air tank use (actually for firing a PB gun once).

It shoots hard.... and far.... "How do you fill it?" Seriously? There's a threaded cap completely visible in that photo. The water is in the 2" half, while the air is in the 3" half... It was just a throw together, as I already had a 3" chamber, not in use... I'm going to place it in a large backpac...

What is Magnum talking about? hahaha I don't know if there are many pneumatic valves that can stand 300°F or more... I did see a SS valve rated for 400°F on McMaster a while ago though... I think it was something like $400 I heated my small steam gun up with a blow torch and turned a less-than-prope...

I can see clearly not the cataract is gone. You're very lucky that you still have vision out of that eye... The body is a very touch mechanism, and the eye is much, much stronger than people believe... My cousin got stabbed in the eye with a broken beer bottle... stitched it up, put in some saline? ...

These have been made quite a few times before... I once made one out of 5" of 1" steel to a 5/16" Brake line.... Airsoft BBs were great ammo, though they really didn't come out much over a few hundred fps (possible 500 fps)... I suppose that is decent for such a small and simple design though... Not...

I'm very sorry to hear about your Great Grandmother. I'd also have to recommend a sabot shot with the wind (not towards it) at a pretty high angle. I think a sabot made from 2 toilet paper rolls may work. You would have to make alternating holes\slashes in the tubes and fit them over top of each oth...

I think a proper chronograph or a homemade metal sensing chronograph with metal ammo would be much for accurate. With both pneumatic and combustion guns you will have errors. Unless your guns completely silent between the time the valve open\chamber ignites and the projectile leaves the barrel... I ...

- Topic: advantages of sprinkler valve over a blow gun?

A sprinkler valve moves much more air than a blow gun can... A blowgun vents about 10 cubic feet of air per minute (CFM or SCFM) on average... The better ones (high pressure\flow) venting about 32 SCFM at 100 psi... Whereas a 3/4" QEV (similar to a 1" sprinkler valve in flow) vents around 480 SCFM a...

This valve had quite a bad day today... I don't know if it's even fixable... Maybe with a lathe or something :x Good thing I have a lathe and CNC to use  Trying the first shot at 80 psi today... While it was -12°F (about 24.4°C) out... My piston basically ripped the valve in half... I have no ...
