If all else fails use primer first, primer sticks to everything and it also opens up the door for different types of paint because basically everything sticks to primer. And if possible use a heat gun in between layers of painting, it speeds up the curing process and just makes your life easier

Do some research first, a propane metering device would work, but please research before you ask questions like that.

If it was that easy then Joel from spudtech wouldn't be selling and making money off of them. you need a lathe or something similar to a lathe, plus you need lot of experience. Just buy a barrel from spudtech, it willl turn out a lot better then what you can do with 5 bucks.

Gort: ABS may take pressure just fine, but it would never stand long against a piston. So NEVER use ABS in a piston cannon. Ok, if abs took the pressure fine like you said, it would be perfectly fine to use for a piston cannon. PVC is very brittle and can break very easily, ABS is flexible and has a...

Well, it's all up to you on what pressure you want it and the size of the meter. Also yes you can make an offboard meter, you can find two on advanced spuds and also one on neospuds, they're both offboard but different styles. Hopefully that was helpfull to you.

you can put a regulator on the propane and reg it to a lower pressure, then you can have the meter at a longer length. If you need good instructions go to burnt latke's website.

I'm not that familar with pvc ( live in Canada) but I'm getting some schedule 80 pipe and fittings and wondering if you need a different type of glue for it, besides regular pvc glue.
