ok i built a gun using the sprinkler valve, and used 3 9 volt batteries to trigger the solanoid. it worked great for about 2 hours then stopped shooting the ammo out and now it just sort of "farts" it out and the ammo goes about 5' due to the air releasing very slow. i thought i had a bad valve so i...

so it would not be wise to just tap a hole in the 2" pvc and screw in a pressure gauge if its only going thru one layer of pvc?

would this weaken the pvc and make it rupture where you drilled it?
