Got a new design in the works. I think you guys are going to really like it. Its pretty involved, but when its working I'll be sure to snap some picks and get em up here. The Scorpion cannon has been working flawlessly, I'm really glad you guys like it. And yes we use a stand for it. But wait for th...

You should have used better valve, like a 3" piston valve. But it is a really good gun, you could use one chamber at a time on the paintball feild? Remember I designed this for use in paintball, not for power. A bigger valve woulda been better for the cannon if I did not intend to shoot it at peopl...

That is not a silencer, its more of a "shroud" The barrel continues all the way through it. There is a slight leak at the breech but its minimal, I have not seen a preformance decrease from it, at lease not one that I would care about. Like I have said it shot roughly 250 yards. How did I construct ...

Believe me when I say I know that pressurizing a PVC pipe to 250+ psi is by no means a smart move, and I am not trying to say its safe. I am just argueing the point that a PSI rating is just that. The arguement here most people are making is that the volume of compressed gas is far higher than a liq...

PVC Pressure ratings myth.
Hey all I just wanted to add this topic because browsing through I have seen some discussion on the pressure ratings of PVC when used for air. Some arguements have been made that the pressure rating on pvc is in reference to water pressure, and that it will hold far less air pressure. I want to make...

Also, the straps are flat kaki, and a ten foot 3" chamber is what is on my cannon, assuming your firing all 4 tanks :) You will definatly need 2 - 1" sprinklers for the chamber, as the single valve is a bottle neck, although you can use a longer barrel to offset a single valve. This is quite powerfu...

Hey all I'm glad you like it! Alot of thought was put into this. Yes I have considered a rifled barrel, might be something I'll add in the future, thats the beauty of this cannon it's very versitile. The cost is hard to estimate because there was a degree of trial and error, But I'm pretty sure its ...
