I had the same problem with the diaphragm not reseating properly and constantly had to open the valve and reseat the diaphragm manually. I found out that the bottom of the diaphragm was catching on a tiny lip where it seats, so I sanded the lip off and smoothed it over with a fine grit abrasive pape...

The Question is whether the sprinkler valve will hold up...Your average sprinkler valve isn't usually taken much past 120psi.

from what ive found, the fittings i n bunnings are PN18 and they also have pn12 40(perfect GB barrel :D ) & 50 mm by the meter. in the one i went to it was out with all the long timber etc, out the back. Ahh yes, you did say that your fan died on you, but I failed to take note. Hopefully you get a new fan up and running soon so you can wreak more havoc on more inanimate objects with this beast.

15mm Poly pipe fits AA batteries Perfectly, no tape required-I recommend you go and get a length of it.
