I make my 4" diaphrams from the rubber caps that you get that have hose clamps on them. They are slightly crowned on one side and I put that side againest the barrel outlet. They work great.

Pimm I appreciate your comments. I will try to get some better pictures up. I am right handed. The reason the handle was postioned the way it was is that when it is slinged over the shoulder you would have to reach over the barrrel to reach the handle on the other side. This makes it balance real we...

My first "Advanced Combustion"

I have built a couple of big air powered guns/cannons and wanted to try Combustion's and to make something a little more "advanced" than the basic hairspray combustion and here it is. I am going to call it he "Black Mamba", don't know why but it got a good sound to it. Here are the specs. The chambe...

If you can't find the sdr21 you can sleeve two pieces of 2" sch 40 to make the barrel. Its covered in the wiki and it works well.

I like it! The lines are clean and uncluttered and it looks ready to kill and/or just have a good time. I getting tired of making huge cannons and have been wanting to make a marble gun/AA battery gun and this gives me some good ideas to start with. What kind of range with what kind of projectile do...

If you have access to a table saw use it to mod some 2" sch40. It explains it in the wiki. I have used both the sdr21 inside 2" sch80 and the 2" sch 40 inside 2" sch 40 and the only difference I have found is that the ball is a little tighter in the 2" sch 40 thats been modded.

If the pipe doesn't have a psi rating on it I would not use it for a pneumatic gun. Even some DWV sch 40 is pressure rated for example 2" Crestline DMV NSF is rated at 280 psi. If there is not a rating on it I would not exceed 30psi. If the pipe has a psi rating on it and the fittings have PW on the...

So did you use the 4 1/2 hole saw and then take it back like you planned? I like the handle. Thati s simliar to what I did on the Maulernator to make the "bolt' that I load the golf ball through on the breechload. Good job. Glad you didn't give up.
