Gap for stun gun
I just built a CANNON ..the chamber volume is 941.5 cu in and the barrel volume is 705 cu in....i've decided on using a 100,000 volt stun gun for this one so i can fire it remote...i'm useing 1/4/ 20 stainless for the contacts inside the chamber ...what would be the correct gap for the contacts on t...

I'd scrap it!!! that size of pipe is cheap but reconstructice surgury on your face is not. i'd go with safety first...i just built a huge gun and i'm gonna fire it remotly with possibly a stun gun from around the corner of my garage the first several times..from what i see in the picture i wouldn't ...

Well i got the cannon put together tonight.it has a 8x19 inch chamber with a 3x96 inch barrel...i ended up useing schedule 40 pipe due to the fact that i couldn't get the fittings from work unless i stole them and i'm not about to do that!..and the fittings are a little more expensive than i thought...

It is going to be stationary..i wasn't planning on holding onto a beast like that..i was just wondering if anyone had ever attempted such a large gun before..i'm thinking of starting out with a bbq lighter with some extra wire at first till i'm sure the thing is safe.....gonna be an interesting proj...

I have unlimited access to schedule 80 pvc.and am building a cannon with a combustion chamber of 8x20 inches and a 3x96 barrel.i'm using a stun gun as a ignition source and metered propane as fuel..has anyone ever attempted a gun this size...

ok i built my first cannon...and damn this thing is awsome...piezo ignition..propane metered at 35 psi through a 3 inch pipe with a 3/4 id.. 21x3 in combustion chamber..48 x1 1/2 in barrel..iv'e only fired this thing about 20 times and i'm wondering how crazy i can get with this..i work at a chemica...
