QEV's can handle 300psi. The one I'm using is said by Technobots (battle robot supplier) to be useable to 300psi along with the other sizes it comes in. I wouldn't bother using homemade valves at 300psi. The piston in a QEV is vastly lighter and is guaranteed not to cock up on you. how much is an $...

Scuba tanks hold between 2200 to 4500psi depending on size and tank construction . The compressors used to charge them are very expensive. Even a small portable scuba compressor will cost $1500 used. The one that I use to run my paintball field costs $3000 new and this is a small compressor. so if ...

I have been pondering this question as well. I searched for portable small gas air compressors, but they would still be a pain and very expensive. in the process i found a very large air compressor that was rated at like 4700psi or something. it said it was for scuba tanks and other stuff. I wish i ...

You think hes actually gonna hold that thing? Unlike you biker i think this guy has ALOT of common sense. Have you ever seen 6 inch pipe? with three peices i can barely get my arm around it. also, a bolwing ball at 45 FPS gives off akick hard enough to break bones. Anyway, Back on topic, I REALLY w...

a bowling ball is 8.5" diameter. another idea that just came to me is to find the largest dia pvc i can find cheaply and partition it with double 2" or 3" shut off valves between every 12" or so for a total of 4 to 5 chambers so different barrels could be used and at the same time different chamber ...

Hurray everone lets throw a party and give this guy a trophy for researching before posting. Last person I saw that study before post was months ago. Now on to the cannon I think it is feasible but it would be a big take of your pocket book. If you do build it remeber if you go big enough you can t...

bowlingball/basketball pneumatic cannon anybody try it?
I have searched quite a bit and found a couple people try it and give up on the idea with no reasons as to why. I have made quite a few combustion type potato canons, and have just lately come across the pnuematic type via some videos as well as some searching and this site and have to try my hand a...
