To answer A-98's question no it isn't too big, the brass tube is used for intimidation. Here is a picture of the barrel... i took a 1/4 inch tube and stuck it into the "root feeder", but first i had to shave off some plastic because it just barely couldn't fit.

Well here is another gun i have made... I took a "Root Feeder" sawed off the tip, and more, because there were little divits that went into the tube. Then i took a 1/4 inch tube and set that into the pipe. Later i connected this to an air compressor, then later put half of a 1/4 inch pipe and stuck ...

1. Yes i simply blow the air from the back... but i don't understand what other you ment
2. I used a kind of tiny plumming pipe as you said, it is flexible not like PVC. The size is 1/4 inches.
