i want to clarify this: I want to make a fully semi automatic gun that can be carried. this means that whether i use a QEV or a piston valve i need to have some way of preventing a complete discharge of the air reservoir. The bottom valve on this diagram is therefore necessary or the pilot valve wil...

do you guys think that it would stay opened long enough for the ammo to drop in? :? I don't see how you can control it to fire a single projectile. As the pin retracts during firing, I see a possibility of a few balls loading before the pin closes. When the pin closes, I think it will mildly shove ...

The design seems like it would work, even if it is way over-engineered. My only objection to the design is that you'd need to have a regged-down tank feeding into the system, or I'm pretty sure that bottom valve won't close. well i have a lead going from the reservoir to the air chamber to equalize...

semi automatic pneumatic airsoft design
here is my idea that i have finally put into a gif animation. The goal is to have a portable gun that will give you multiple shots without reloading.

I guess i probably didn't set the proportions correctly at all. the semi auto portion is smaller than cpvc and the blue part (1) is much larger in respect to the piston coaxial tank(which will be relatively small- probably for shooting air soft or paint balls). i plan to use some golden rods from ac...

Semi-Automatic Piston Valve Diagram
I've been thinking about how I could make a portable, powerful, and most importantly, efficient cannon. I think I may have developed something after some long hours in math class. Referring to the Diagram: Granted, I'm sure we all know what numbers 1 through 3 are, but just to clarify: 1 is an air r...

Oh i've made over 14 spudguns both combustion and pneumatic- only 5 didnt work and i know why- with this new kind of piston it will definately move properly. I plan to use a brass air tank for the pistons. both its fit and shape are perfect for a functioning piston if i just secure an O ring properl...

double piston pump rifle
I dont know if people have had this thought in mind much - ive never seen it on spudfiles- but i think it would be a very efficient and hassle free way to construct a clean and easy to use pneumatic. By using two sealing pistons you can release the exaust valve by pumping the gun like a shotgun relo...

WOA! you dont weld copper??? I am a noob at this copper stuff so if i sodder it with flux ...will it be able to handle hybrid pressures? I just watched a video on youtube on how to solder and i saw this bubbling stuff coming out of the hot pipe cracks- is that the "flux"? (I assume you rub this mate...

so I have looked into parts at the home depot and essentially construced a gun but put everything back. I found a very air-tight yet low friction piston that i could use i've thought about using equal air pressure behind the piston but i cant figure a way to keep it from seeping with time... Another...
