Also what are the actual rules for the testing envoirnment, i.e. does it need to be outside or can it be in a confined area? i love ...

As stated before, those vortex cannons do not displace enough air to knock anything over at 20 feet. Also keep in mind, the farther you go, especially with unstabilized air (air connon muzzle blast), the force will decrease exponentially, not linearly. So if you have twice the nessisary force to kno...

I cant be sure, as i am not positive about my magnetic knowledge, but im not sure it would add spin as the nail is not North/South discriminant. By this, i mean it is not magnetized, but it is still magnetic (it will stick to a magnet) In order for your idea to work, i believe you would need a nail ...

actually, if you could figure out how to get/make the tools, thats a legitimate idea That's not a "legitimate" idea... It's how rifling is done in firearms. Or close enough, anyways (ie, it's how it was done in the old days.). you fail to provide information disproving my statement. By legitimate, ...

Im surprised im the first to bring it up, but although its deffinatly not a dead end, as any paintball player, or spudder who has used a Co2 system knows, CO2 cools as it expands, like every other gas, except CO2 does it to a much grgeater extreme. For this reason, HPA is used instead of CO2 on spee...

Im not sure if you are interested, but i would look into pneumatic cylinders to actuate a ball valve. I have a bunch of cylinders lying around, i usually use them to move the parts of my breech (for my semi-autos) but it has just occured to me that they would do exactly what you are looking for. On ...
