The only problem I see is this piston will probably need o-rings. Either on the barrel(easier, but weakens barrel) or on the interior of the piston(harder). Pilot volume is easy enough to limit by blocking off the end of the chamber. The strength of the barrel, if everything is made out of PVC than ...

Might I suggest lulu.com. It is an online publisher. It does 'print on demand' and is fairly inexpensive. I've done several picture books there and the quality is good.

Without knowing the proper cause, switching to another browser is a poor idea. Don't follow the advice of members suggesting such. Last year BitDefender identified a trojan(Trojan.Qhost.WU) that hijacked your hosts file. This will affect every browser out there. It is basically redirecting google ad...

Two definitions of 'primitive'. I dug out an old dictionary(google) for this. 1.crude: belonging to an early stage of technical development; characterized by simplicity 2.a person who belongs to an early stage of civilization Well if that doesn't describe most spudguns and spudders I don't understan...

I hate to break it to you Crowley, but in cooking there has been more technological advances and innovative ideas than in spudguns. But yes, you in a twisted sort of way could call cooking primitive. Obviously you didn't understand the Model T/Koenigsegg statement.

Considering most of the principles(physic laws, theories and material) used on this website have been around for years, PRIMITIVE stands as an accurate description. While the combination of said principles is occasionally innovative, most of the time it isn't anything new. Get over it girls, your tr...

Another thing worth mentioning is don't use bicycle chain lubes. Most are meant to dry and form a coat over the chain. This isn't what you want with your ball valve.

T-9 by Boeshield works well with PVC ball valves. Expensive for a lube though.

No denying the weight of a leaf spring. That is why you look for spring packs with plenty of thin springs as opposed to lesser count spring packs. They might both carry the same weight, but more thinner springs translates to a smoother/softer ride. I've only helped friends build their crossbows. The...

One of the nice things about leaf springs is the ability to give them a softer spring rate. Four wheelers have been doing this for literally decades for softer spring rates.. If the rate is too stiff, heat up the spring and re-arch it. You can't do that with wooden or fiberglass prods.

Cut some strips from aluminum sheet and spot weld them together. make them about 3 inches wide x 12 inches long.. Some aluminum is too brittle for a crossbow prod. Spot welding 3"X12" strips will just snap from very little use. Several people have been successful with 1.5" x 0.25" 7075 T6 51 alumin...

Is your 760 a .177 cal pellet gun? That translates into 4.5mm cal. Airsoft BBs are 6mm. A whole 1.5 mm larger. You would have to bore you barrel to the larger caliber(this would permanently damage it) unless they sold an airsoft barrel for it. You could probably replace the barrel with a piece of br...

You mean like calling yourself "the judge". your not a judge and probably won't ever be one. get over yourself. if you can't offer anything useful or even a nice gun comment, then keep your comments to yourself. if base45 intends to shoot from a hidden place with this he is a sniper, even more so if...
