That looks fantastic, I like how you've incorporated 3D printed elements and impressive muzzle energy too, it must be very loud!
Interested to see the projectile, is the barrel a smoothbore?

Re: Chat GPT designs high frequncy check-valves
Definitely visually interesting but in technical terms it seems it will be a while before our robot overlords will arm themselves with pneumatic weaponry

Re: Mon blue king cal 68
Some impressive performance statistics and more than 50% retained energy at 500 meters is impressive! I'm not sure that the "rifling" on the projectile itself has any real benefit but it does make for an attractive round :D Have you tried some different burst disk thicknesses before finding an optim...

Yet another vintage pellet gun resto-mod :D The Pell Master 700 is a somewhat unique CO2 rifle that was first manufactured by Crosman in 1967 and only made for four years. Unlike most similar devices pellets are loaded through a rotary tap rather than a bolt, and the hammer and valve are in line wit...

Re: Mon blue king cal 68
Since we're talking about rifling, have you seen how people are using "electrochemical machining" to rifle barrels from steel tubing? A very interesting way of doing it for those who are more at ease with 3D printing although I suspect it would be a challenge for rifle length barrels. mark.s has a ...

Re: Over shoulder potato cannon
Not entirely sure if the stats are right considering I have disc data on it and just shoot cut potato's from a brass tube in the barrel, despite it clearly just being a regular combustion cannon, hopefully doesn't goof it up You need to "trick" HGDT for combustions by putting disk failure at zero a...
