small rocks are fun.

fill the barrel with water.

AA batteries.

melt candles so they fit.

Nerf Darts, Small Gumballs, Bolts Nails and Screws wraped in tape to fit, and other than that, basically anything that fits in the barrel

nail darts, bb buckshot, penuts, water, other small stuff with wadding.

or you could buy more marbles

Cherries are always nice, if you have any cherry trees where you are vacationing. (I have a cherry tree in my backyard, I wouldn't buy them from the store, they are way too expensive)

i dont think that anyone is gunna pick cherries thinking " wow i could proble use these some day!" and if the the only way to get them is by buying them, then why would u say not to buy them. if u can find cherries, then go for it

in that case, he would be better off getting more marbles.

Wax slugs are fun. They shatter glass lava lamps, and explode on harder targets.
Anything that fits is good though. I've shot rocks, bolts, screws, all kinds of junk out of my pneumatic. I don't even bother with any wadding or sabots, I just pressurize it to 100PSI or so.
I'm weird, I know it, you don't need to tell me.

Stick your finger in until it won;t go further, chop it off, and ram it down the barrel. Perfect ammo!

If this is 1/2" pvc we're talking about, you can make very quick and easy darts for it by cutting thin pieces of hot glue and pushing nails through them.
The are good for close and medium range, but lose speed quickly afte a couple hundred feet. This is a good thing in a small neighborhood.

Small diameter barrel so ...

Get some spuds or zuchini (zuchinin are good since people that grow'm usually have a bunch they want to get rid of). Use the veggy as a sabot for rocks etc. Should be able to get tens of shots out of your typical zuc.

Did you go to the land of no-marbles? Otherwise I suggest your typical spuds, no doubt, thats why they called spudguns
