lol i got a bunch of 100db alarms from one once rigged them up with a 5min delay and dropped them in random class rooms after disabling the on off switch and encasing them in hot glue, man that was the best money i had ever spent you should have seen them trying to turn them off.

any way back on topic i have to say i have never seen any $1 bbq lighters at the stores near me. where do you live spudzuka (what state)?

I get my marbles from the dollar store, since it's only $1 for 100 or more or them (what a great store:).

I'm in Florida and the Dollar General store (same thing right?) down the road has a two pack of BBQ lighters for $2.00, and then they have the Nascar styled ones with Dale Jr, Jeff Gordon, etc, etc, for 1 Dollar each.

NICE! :thinks to self: I wonder if I'd get fired for doing that at work? LOL

hmmmm.... that was a while ago i bet i was using a ne555 and scr (ne555 set to generate a pulse every 5min the scr is a switch that doesn't turn off until it runs out of power on the collector side) i cant give you any of the values for the resistors caps on the ne555. since then i have moved to pic micro controllers which are more complicated to program but require less supporting components
