Feed supply stores carry it in 50 poundbags. It is used as a powerful fertalizer and some stump removers are noting but saltpeter.

will the phosphate in the fertalizer affect the preformance of a smoke bomb

Hmmm I am not sure?? Well if you buy it from a farm supply store it will most likely be all saltpeter and if ther were a very small amount of phosphates they might not do much (don't hold me on this)

they sell it in small boxes at chemists, thats where i get mine from

You can get it as stump remover. There is a video on www.bcvids.com that explains everything.
