i am looking for a amo for a school demo and am thinking of using mallows

my friend had a small pneumatic gun nothing fancy but he shot pencil erasers you know not the ones on the pencil but the one you put on it but it did some damage to a soda can

I would go with mini-marshmallows. And make sure the "device" has less muzzle energy than a person's arm. Say muzzle velocities of less than 100 feet/sec.
