Ok, I'll Point out a issue: your including everthing anyone has ever shot in the regular ammo list.
I would steer the regular ammo list towards a list of common house hold ammo for certian barrel sizes - a 1" list, a 2" list... (no BMX pegs)
Also, having a "ammo you can eat" section, although funny, is kindof silly. A more usefull list might be moldable ammo - like ice, pycrete, cement, wax... Ammo that can be used in any barrel.
That said, socks, balled up, make non-destructive ammo for sizes (probably) 1.25" - 2.5" (but definatly 2"). I know many people I don't trust with only a sock, though - The things hurt like crap!

what about a bag of dog left overs our food
haha big boom
yeh, water is pretty fun, but i reckon nothing beats the good old potato. also i love darts, i have a fully plastic one that i used today and got about 100kmph, thats about 28m/s, or 92feets per second. im pretty pleased although i know fester can be achieved( my measuring of time and distance were a bit dodgey)
a good cheap ammo is to take a hole saw that will cut slugs the size of your barrel, a 2x4, and some bolts and nuts the size of the drill bit in your hole saw (usually 1/4"). start drilling away, and when you're done clean up the edges of the pieces you cut out with a sander or sand paper, then stick the bolt thru the wood slugs and put the nuts on them, they make very good ammo, pretty destructive too

i use the same sort of ammo i use for my blowgun, except its heaver and stronger.
i use a think metal coat hanger,
cut the straight sections out
make a cone out of strong plastic of some kind,
glue / fix the cone onto the reat of the wire / rod
put the newly made dart in the barrel and cut the cone to size
sharpen the wire/ rod on a ginder or whatever
SHOOT
looks like this
(hope this works)

I bought some wooden dowells 3' by 1" ,, cut them in one and two inch p ieces on my table saw. I use them to push out lug nuts , large fishing sinkers beat into a somewhat round shape with a hammer and vise. I have about sixty pound of tire balancing weights that I use also. I've been shooting at my old 18" satellite dish from about 70'. The wooden dowells are pretty destructive by themselves but the lead balls and large nut and bolts go through everything. I have a shooting range convieniently located next to my shop with a large wooded ravine behind it wher e no one ever goes. pictures coming soon. For my combustion cannon {I have 3 },I have a piece of 2" by 6' ABS I use as and extension that fits over the one and one half in. barrells .Sometimes I slip a plastic mediicine cup in the end of the smaller barrel making the whole gun a combustion chamber then I slip on the larger six foot barrel and shoot larger potatoes and sometimes those cat balls .you know with the little bell inside . they fit fairly well and shoot out of site , the neighborhood kids like to catch them when they come down. Lots of fun. I hve some smaller 1" rubber balls but when I shoot them they just disappear for good , so not as much fun ,

.... make bullet styled ammo.....
bullet styled ammo would only work if the barrel was rifled, so your best bet is to rifle the AMMO itself, do you know what a rifled slug for a shotgun looks like?
