grab an old funnel from your garage, must be made of metal!
cut a wooden block (a 4" x 4" fence post works great) and make a mold out of it for your "bullet". The center of the wooden mold should have a small pinhole drilled through the center so when it cools down it can simply be pushed out.
cut up some milk juqs into fine strips and fill the funnel to the top, you're going to be melting this plastic and forcing it through the funnel bottom into your wooden mold. Grab the pliers or even clamp up the funnel and heat it up using a propane torch.
Of course this isnt a guide in plastic molding but maybe an idea on how to make some cheap homemade ammo out of common rubbish material

well ive made some simmilar but i didnt melt them by hand, i squirted the hot plastic from an injection molding machine, into my hands (with leather gloves) and formed them by hand, i think the pics are at the beginning of this thread (i used grey poly instead of clear)

not if its evenly heated, plastic melts between 300 and 400 degrees farenheit, it would take a skilled plumber to torch a steel funnel with plastic in it without burning. ive never tried it myself but it might be an easy way to mold solid plastic slugs for the home builder

put the plastic in a pot, put the plastic holding pot in a bigger pot, then fill the bigger pot with water, set to boil untill the plastic melts as much as u need it to, this will heat it evenly and will not set it on FIRE yes plastic is combustable/not safe to heat with a tourch

The melting point (does it technicaly have a melting point?) of plastic is much higher than that of water... but an oil bath might work. (like a double boiler with oil)

yeah jjrw has a better idea to heat the plastic, you need to heat the plastic evenly to ensure that its all melted evenly,
the press im working on now uses three 250 watt heater bands that will be strapped like hose clamps to an "injection barrel" which will hold the plastic until its in an amorphous (thick liquid) state. heres a crappy pic i showed pimpmann earlier tonight:
the press will simply mold solid plastic or rubber bullets that fit perfect into a spud gun barrel.

thats a good idea spudshot-i wonder if your going to loose heat through the container thats holding the melted plastic, these heater bands mite be 250 rite at the band but will that much transfer through to the plastic?
