PVC on wood lathe

Sandpaper. I used the wood lathes in the wood shop at school to make a piston for my copper piston cannon. It was very easy to make O-Ring Grooves. But then again, I am better than the teacher with the lathe.

i never thought of using sand paper, thats such a good idea. but how did you make o-ring groves with sand paper?

Use a tenion tool to make the grooves. Have you ever used a wood lathe???

well considering i have one would you assume i have, i got these like chisle looking things for it. but i never went to any classes on how to use it or had anyone teach me, so i learn as i go.
