Where to find Shrader Caps?

Well, i was reading a recent topic involving a 10mm barrel, and the poster of the cannon used those little black plastic shrader valve caps as dart cones. I tried the fit and the fit is so riddiculously perfect, i couldnt have asked for better. problem is, i cant seem to find them in more than a four pack, and buying 500+ caps by four packs is gonna be expensive at a dollar a pack.

im 100% sure it doesnt cost a quarter to manufacture one of those little caps. does anyone know where i can get a bulk bag of them? im sure car repair places dont buy them in little four packs.

Thanks

go to auto zone ore kmart or even wal mart anywhere that sells tires or bikes. schrader caps are not really effective ecpecially on spud guns they may cause injury if the schrader gives out and backblows.

Have you tried searching online? Maybe a dealer might sell them in bulk.

Yes, i searched all night. Sent an e-mail to the distributor. waited about 2 months for the reply.

if nobody knows thats perfectly fine, ill just buy commercial .40 cal darts. i just thought these would be a cheaper option.

They should be a lot cheaper option, most distributors won't deal with the public- Try writing your emails as if you own a business, they might take you seriously then.
If they sell them for 25cents a pop they are making a killing, i cant see anymore than 2cents a cap.

You could even look on the ground in the parking lots near your local auto parts stores, it's not bulk but at least it's free. (It actually does work, one day I found 4 schrader valves laying on the ground near a dumpster, and they all worked just fine :D )

You can buy boxes of 100 at any automotive parts store.

hmm if tires are on the ground, occupied parking lots do have a lot of them, sounds suspicious,
the only caps I see for sale are the little designer ones like colored dice
if you can find them anywhere in packs for retail sale, the try locating the company on the pack and ring an order and pretend you are a real retail store if it helps
