Hi all,
Between spuddin and kartin im also a pretty good dart player. Anyway i had one of those moments when an idea hits you and your face just lights up
. i kinda looked at my darts and at my stockpile of GBs, and though hmmmmmm this could work. Sooo i grabbed my drill and a drill bit and viola, what you see below is my creation. I havvnt had chance to test because im sure that whos ever roof or window it lands on or in, will not be as satisfied as me if it all works good
Thoughts, Comments?

haha that looks great
probably not much better than a golfball in practice though.
If you cut the golfball in half and used it as a sabot for the dart however...

ive already shot darts heaps of times with my marble gun, its really fun specially when your target is far away and you have to use pliers to pull them out

Nice idea
Now there is no "spherical inaccurateness" anymore.
but as jsr said:
Using the dart on the frond would also be good.
But now combine!
A golfball with a sharp rod on the front and a dart tail on the back

Why is it not better then a normal golfball?
Spherical projectiles may be unaccurate due to spinning right?
A ball with dart-tail wont.

A golf ball is aerodynamically optimized. The pits (grooves in the surface) reduce the resistance in flight.
A ball with pits can travel up to 3 times the distance of a ball without them.
I don't think that the tail can affect this in a positive way.

So? It looks wicked, and adds some color to that bland golf ball.
