hey all- i'm looking for a pressure washer handle with NPT threads. All the ones i've found have really weird threads i've never heard of. anyone have any ideas? or thread converter sort of things for weird things would be nice too.

so i'm looking for either a pressure washer handle with NPT threads or a thread converter nipple sort of piece.

thanks

If you live in Canada, call Princess Auto.

The pressure washer handles in their catalog are 3/8"NPT inlet and 1/4" NPT outlet, pressures up to 5000psi.

Prices range from 19.99 to 36.99 (watch you don't buy the "weeping" type)

Be warned that is 5000 psi under water pressure which is different than air pressure.

COrrect me if I'm wrong, but pressure is pressure, regardless what it's from.

Pressure is not to worry about, as you know.

The problem maybe leaking, since pressure washer handles were made for water, you may have leaking with air.

I know that DYI did with one of his guns he was going to build.

The only difference is that air is lighter, so it propels objects faster then if it was water. So in a contained 'chamber' that is not going to blow up, you should be fine.

It only matters if it is going to propel something. That's why it is not recommended using compressed air with PVC. Because if the PVC blows up, the air is going to send the small PVC fragments a piss load faster then if it was a compressed liquid.

thanks for the link, but it looks like a shady website.. no offense but there is no picture or anything... idk just doesn't look good, unless you have done biz with them before??

i PMed singularity and am waiting to hear back... in the meantime anything else?? thread converter sort of things would be nice too anyone know where to get those?? or a good old NPT handle from a good source? if someone has done business with the site he mentioned please let me know. I'm just wary of sites i haven't done business with.

oh and ideally under 30 dollars

Well I got the link from my buddies dad who owns several car washes around baton rouge. I told him I was looking for a cheap pressure washer handle with ntp threads. He said they're legit
