Nice spirals... but WTF?
Is this intended to be an acctual projectile, or are you just playing with your raytracing engein and posting the results in the incorrect catogory?

my dad's getting a new sony digital camera, i have the old one to play around with
thats 1/2" pvc you see there, with slug, springs, wings, and a camera filming down.
the springs helps with the impact, hoping it can save the camera, but since it's a big tall grass field, i am not fussed
yes, i am going to shoot a $200 camera out of my gun.
should be pretty fun to do

doont
you should instead use it for a camera flash ignition

yes i can do that, destroy the camera completely.
or i can do that and it will have a 90% chance of surviving, providing some kick ass video.
besides, camera flash ignition can be done with a cheap 1 time camera that costs 5 bucks

id say try it, i mean if you really want to destroy the camera....but try putting the camera in a clear bow, such as lexan (otterbox) its a brand of box that is crush proof, so you can pretty much run it over with a car...anyway, try that, that wasy you can reuse it over and over again. Be sure to post the video.

i can safely say, the impact will be nothing
i have those wings to stop the camera from ever touching a flat surface
i was thinking more of a lunch box

The pvc WILL break on impact/landing. I suggest you use steel or copper pipe instead.

this will help
i also plan to make weak sections just so they break somewhere i can live with
also a small parachute will help

i'll test with a even crappier camera
but, the question is, how much acceleration can i expect? and how much is too bad for the hardware?
