Ice Ammo Easter Eggs
an aerodynamic ice slug
Just open the egg, sumberge it in liquid, put on the fastner, then stick it in the freezer.
for 1.5 pvc barrels
I fired off an ice slug and when they fit just right they go flying WAY FARTHER than potatoes! I would suggest easter egg ice slugs to anyone who is looking for serious speed, distance, and accuracy

Another good one is car bodyfiller slugs, made the same way as ice slugs and surpirzingly the hardend filler does pop out of the moulds with minimal force.and they are alot harder then ice

if you got a syringe and took the paint out of a paintball then filled it with water and after you have frozen it peel the skin off and you will have an ice ball

I'm glad someone picked up on the body filler idea, i posted that one a while back. The ice ammo caught on even faster. I wonder who thought of that before me? Someone here said "great minds think alike", GOOD THINKING!!!

Well you could make a cylinder mold from pipe the same size as ur barrel like the one i had posted, but that can leak if you don't have the bottom of the mold completely sealed.
Did you buy you 2 1/2 at spudtech or a store? if at a store what chain?
Maybe frozen playdoh would work too

Mcmaster Carr has these metal balls, in any size from 1/8" to i think 4" but for a pack of 25 1" its like $15, and if you take concrete and make a mold smaller then in your barell and put some rebar size #4 in there and let it dry and then take it out and get the same size as you barel center it up and put some water around it and let it frezze it works super well

The pvc i have is 3", i was guessing the inside diameter to be 2 1/2" due to wall thickness. Maby it's more like 2 3/4 inside diameter. Don't quote me on them sizes, i could be wrong!

Jrrdw, harvel.com lists the ID of 3" sch 40 PVC pipe as 3.042".
As to the ammo presented here, it looks to be a good idea - being roundish, you'll get less lift in undesirable directions when it tumbles.
