If you have one of these two items and willing to sell, I might purchase one from you. I can not promise you that I will buy. I'm just looking at my options. Also I'm only buying through Paypal thats it. So if you have one of these items either PM me or leave a comment below and I'll tell you if I'm interested in buying your item.

Did you look on e bay? Search diaphragm valves, dust collector valves, and solenoid valves. Good luck...

I have and I can't find any for some reason. I might just end up either buying 1 or 2 3/4 inch QEV's and put them on a gun.

A solenoid valve and a qev are basically the same thing. Here is a link I found to one and a link to the valve I have.

This one has its own built in pilot valve on the top. Get a 1/4 inch ball valve, put a male quick connect on the end of it, screw it into the top of the valve, screw in a chamber on the side port, screw in a barrel on the exhaust port and bang, your done!! You will b putting golf balls into space!! Its that easy!!

Of course!! Make the guy a offer for 50 dollars on the last one I listed. Its worth a shot. I guarantee it will put a supah valve or mauler valve to shame, and you dont have to worry about it breaking. Good luck!!! :D

So to modify you just unscrew the plug on the top. No drilling involved. And thanks for all the help :lol http://www.ebay.com/itm/GOYEN-CONTROLS- ... 876wt_1205

QEV is NOT a solenoid valve, but they both use a diaphragm/piston, but a QEV provides faster opening and higher flow (as the name "quick exhaust valve"). A solenoid valve has a relatively low flow, as it´s made to be actuated by electricity, but poor flow.

It says it has 3 inch ports but they are definatly not. I seen this one too and my eyes lit up when I saw 3 inch. They are either 1 or 1 1/2 inch. Also I dont know how good this one would be under pressure due to those ports.

@wyz2285 I said basically the same thing, not the same thing.

@jsefcifk no, its not that easy.

Not quite basic neither, depending the use of it and the design of the gun, it matters a lot. But apparently he just want a big valve for a low pressure cannon, so it may not matter that much as when you are looking for high performance.

I have a 2 inch modified brass solenoid valve ( not for sale though) wich has very high flow.
It has a piston in stead of a diaphram.

It opens as quick as a QEV.

The only real difference is that a QEV is built in a Tee and a solenoid valve is usually built inline.

most solenoid valves however provide less flow compared to a QEV and they tend to open a bit slower.

Fine, all my knowledge about solenoid valves come from research and posts from here, and all of them says that a QEV is better than a solenoid valve with the same size also a solenoid valve is chamber seal a QEV in the other hand is barrel seal. Personally never had one and never will, just thought better not confuse a newbie.
